Creative Process

This was my entry into Enterplay's create a card contest. I'm happy to say it was selected, and you can possibly find it in Series 4 of the official My Little Pony Trading Cards.

It was done with a series of acrylic and watercolor paintings, brought into photoshop to piece together and clean up.
I was working on it before the contest, intended to use it for a long MLP animation (this is only a piece of the background that I had made) but I lost motivation and shelved it. Decided to finish it again for the contest. (probably won't finish the animation though, since this image is moreso theirs now)

They have it officially titled "Rarity's Inspiration Room", and that's fitting, but I ended up calling it Creative Process. Art is messy, you make mistakes, things get in the way, it can be frustrating, it can be physically and emotionally draining, but for many it's a part of their identity. It still feels worth it and it still makes you happy. There are still things I wish I fixed about this, but overall I am glad that it was published and it can be seen by more than my usual audience.
